Christiana MeltonMs. Melton is the President and Founder of Massachusetts Pet Partners, Inc. - an Affiliate of Delta Society Pet Partners. Incorporated December 2003, Massachusetts Pet Partners is a nonprofit regional group of registered Delta Society Pet Partners. Christiana, with her newest ex-racing greyhound Spring's Ding (a.k.a. Ding or Dingo), has been a Delta Society Pet Partners and volunteering in the local community since October 2001. Ms. Melton is a licensed Pet Partners Team Trainer since May 2002, licensed Pet Partners Team Evaluator since May 2003, and a licensed R.E.A.D. Trainer since May 2005. Massachusetts Pet Partners is an associate member of R.E.A.D. (Reading Education Assistance Dogs) a Program of Intermountain Therapy Animals since March 2004. Professionally, Ms. Melton is a Project Assistant and Analytical Systems Engineer at Instrumentation Laboratory, Lexington Massachusetts. Coupled with knowledge in Clinical Laboratory medicine, Christiana assists in defining customer needs and required functionality early in the instrument development cycle, documenting requirements and specifications, risk management, project scheduling, and the everyday management activities of the project and engineering teams. Christiana shares her engineering responsibilities with her longtime passion; training. Ms. Melton is the R&D trainer responsible for such programs as new hire/transfer training, Quality and Departmental policies, procedures and applications, instrument Data Reduction and Algorithm processing, and is currently developing web-based training courses. During her eighteen years at Instrumentation Laboratory, Ms. Melton has held many technical positions in Manufacturing, Customer Training, Customer Support, Marketing, and R&D. Ms. Melton spent the last six years in Project Management, specifically R&D Hemostasis instrument development, and recently Critical Care Project Coordination.

Ms. Melton holds a M.S. in Engineering Management from the Gordon Institute of Tufts University, Medford Massachusetts and a B.S. in Medical Technology from Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg Pennsylvania.
Ringo, CofounderIt is said that without his gentle spirit and love of volunteering there would have never been a Massachusetts Pet Partners. Ringo is no longer with us but his special gift is shared with all Pet Partners that promote the human-animal bond. Ringo "Dog Star Tom"
