  • Strategies for success
  • Starting a program
Course prerequisite

One of the cornerstones of the R.E.A.D. Program is that participating volunteers must be registered therapy teams, screened, tested, and qualified in temperament and skills to do animal-assisted activity or therapy.

This is important for the health and safety of the children, and for the safety and protection of you and your animal companion.

Proof of current therapy organization registration and insurance is required to enrole in the R.E.A.D. training.
